Charity Golf Tournament – Rachels Palm Beach

Rachel’s Sam Spurlock Memorial Golf Tournament

Banyan Cay Resort & Golf Club

Monday July 25th at 1pm

Rachel’s Palm Beach is pleased to announce the addition of MYSCHYF Liqueur to the list of sponsors for the 2016 Sam Spurlock Memorial Golf Outing. The event is scheduled for Monday July 25, 2016 at the Banyan Cay Resort and Golf Club located at 2302 Presidential Way in West Palm Beach.

MYSCHYF joins Tito’s, Milagro and Heineken to headline nearly two dozen sponsors for this charity event. The American Cancer Society and Jeffroes Heroes are this year’s beneficiaries of the 18 hole four person scramble event.

“We have been overwhelmed by the huge outpouring of support from sponsors and participants alike” stated Rachel’s General Manager Joey Felton. “It certainly exemplifies the positive spirit that marked Sam’s life.”

Spurlock had been part of the Rachel’s family for over 5 years before succumbing at home in 2013 to an unknown infection at age 36. “We feel Sam would be really pleased with our choice of sponsors. His joy and zest for life touched all those who encountered him” added Felton.

Participants will be treated to a lavish steak dinner at Rachel’s, 2905 45th St Palm Beach, at 7:00 pm on Sunday evening July 24. The night will also include raffles, auctions, gifts and special events as a prelude to Monday’s 1:00 pm shotgun start. In addition to the play on the championship Banyan Cay golf course participants will be provided with lunch and beverages and on course competitions.
